Dress A Girl Around the World - SF Bay Area

Imagine a world where every little girl owned at least one new dress

Our SF Bay Area Ambassador - Suzanne (& Eric) Beck

Suzanne keeps the SF Bay Area DAG under control!  With over 300 women in the Bay Area involved and over 30,000 dresses delivered since our inception in May 2011, we have to be organized.   Our Sew-Fests feature different 'stations' where all kinds of volunteers can help, whether they can sew or not.  Each station features a different task to help the dress along the way to completion.  Suzanne keeps us organized and cracks the whip! :) . And, we couldn't do it all without Eric, as he sets up our electrical system and hauls all of our paraphernalia in and out of the various halls where we meet.  (He also is known as "Mr. Dress-A-Girl.")

Our Youth Ambassador - Gigi

Many DAG Chapters are fortunate to have YOUTH AMBASSADORS and now we have one too!  Meet Gigi:
My name is Gigi. I am a San Francisco Bay Area high school student. Dress A Girl speaks to me because of the issues it values—social justice, human development and ethical integrity. As the Bay Area Youth Ambassador, I have the opportunity to be a representative for change, through an artistic medium I love, that brings joy to children all over our world.
Gigi loves to sew and will be a great asset to us!  Welcome Gigi!
